Google BABA ki Jai..!!! Hail Google..!!!

Life Without Google :O  I can’t believe that you are actually thinking about it. How can it be true? Google is the lifeline of so many people, and yes it includes us.

To all your moods, to you all your researches, the first reference is Google, ok for a minute let’s not consider it as a source of endless information, a medium to check your mails, translate foreign languages, look for directions, watch videos on YouTube and what not, you name it and they have it.

And since I said you name it, don’t expect them to do the dishes for you or clean your room :P

So now all these user-friendly convenient functionalities out of consideration it comes to my mind, that of what use is it to us anymore. And here is the best part (also the best usage), I am sure this is the globally made most use of Google.

You are is a desperate need to look for something, may be to check some important mails or book ticket or anything, but you are unable to open that website. So a thought comes to your mind, already giving you nightmares, “Is my internet working? OMG I am doomed if it’s not.”

And what do you do when something like this happens, you open Google and check if your internet connection is working fine. Yes, you can laugh on yourself :P because this is what we do :) Rather than checking for our connectivity in network places, or checking our modem we decide to rely on this little site. Even when you go to a café and you are unable to login to any site, the café fellow will come and open Google and look at you as if you’re an illiterate and don’t know anything.

Now since the topic is so different and haunting, it made me think what Google has given. Apart from the deep information it has, Google has actually made us lazy, we will not try to search a topic in our textbooks or reference books or even pick up a dictionary for a meaning or even a spelling of a word, rather open Google it and parallel to our FB tab will be going on our studies :P Just imagine if we had to go through encyclopedias to get all that information :shock: But what would happen if it weren’t there for real. Making thesis, presentations and wanting to know more about something you just heard today, and the fact that everyone around you knows it already is embarrassing :P yes, I am talking about “That awkward moment ;) ”

We would have had to study real hard from our childhood, and if we didn’t study hard, then we would have to collect all our subject books, so that for every minute detail we require we would always be snogging them :P

And just think what would happen to our fellow wasians, I’m sure you have some around. Go ahead and try asking them, and you will remember the Cloromint ad ‘Dobara Mat Puchna’ (Don’t ask again..!!)

And finally ask yourself, what would happen to us if there was no Google. After asking this question to myself, I could instantly recall an episode of ‘Dexters Laboratory’, the one in which Dexters head goes on fire and he circles around DD shouting

“My head is on fire.”

“My head is on fire.”

“My head is on fire.”

:D 


Also I would miss the lovely Google doodles and tricks like Zerg Rush. But wake up from the nightmare folks, we have Google with us, and they will keep trying to get more involved in our lives, after all its business and just another way to play the game ;)
